Give Joy | Spread Love | Inspire Hope

Make a lasting difference this holiday season & throughout the year!

Give joy, spread love, and inspire hope in Greater Newark by supporting La Casa de Don Pedro’s #GivingTuesday™ End of Year Campaign.

#GivingTuesday marks the start of the giving season, when we spread holiday cheer to the people we serve by collecting monetary donations to strengthen our programs and distributing food and toy donations we receive from donors like you!

Your #GivingTuesday donation will support La Casa's ongoing efforts to provide quality childcare, address food insecurity, prevent homelessness, build generational wealth, and so much more! Learn about La Casa's comprehensive programs and services here.

The act of giving is refreshing and empowering. Your gift won't only impact the families we work with whose livelihoods continue to be uncertain due to today's difficult times, but making a gift can help, you, too. Giving to others can help uplift our own spirits while we continue to wade out the aftermath of the pandemic.

Here is what some of our clients have to say about La Casa de Don Pedro.

"I am very grateful, first to God, and secondly for the work of La Casa de Don Pedro, for all the help and always being willing to answer our concerns. I am particularly thankful for their patience and cordial response. They helped my business a lot during this stressful time."

- Richard. Recipient of Covid-19 Small Business Relief

"I’ve been part of the prenatal program since August 2019 and it’s been awesome. I met this very wonderful woman [Coordinator Steffany] at my lowest state. She encouraged me and made me feel like this is going to pass. I’ve never felt this much love and support from a total stranger. The prenatal program at La Casa is the best. You can’t ask for anything more as a parent."

- Oluwayemisi, Prental Care Program Participant

"Unfortunately, I’ve been unemployed for a while and I thank God for La Casa de Don Pedro. They’ve helped me tremendously with the food and vegetables they’ve given me. It really helps given that I’m a single parent. The support I’ve received is greatly appreciated."

- Brunie, Food Insecurity Program Participant
